01 / PROFILE

BETWEEN TWO WORLDS

Justice under examination.

Captain of Squad Nine, Tosen navigates through spiritual perception rather than sight. He values restraint and gives moral language a prominent place in his decisions. His friendship with Komamura and his influence on Hisagi make those convictions personal matters rather than simply statements attached to an office.

His story asks whether a declared principle remains trustworthy when it becomes inseparable from grievance, and how friendship responds when shared words begin to carry incompatible meanings.
